Township 7 Winery

At the heart of Township 7 is a simple belief: quality above all else. With estate locations on the Naramata Bench and in South Langley, their winemakers craft small-lot, handcrafted varietals that capture the essence of British Columbia's two most celebrated wine valleys. Step onto the property and you're met with the scent of the earth, a working winery in full swing, and a team that takes as much care with hospitality as they do with the grapes. It's the perfect home for a Shakespeare play.

Bard in the Valley

Bard in the Valley is a registered charitable theatre company based in the Fraser Valley, dedicated to making Shakespeare accessible, affordable, and joyful for everyone. Founded in 2010, BIV has welcomed over 25,000 audience members across its productions — powered each season by a passionate community of 50+ volunteers who give their time as actors, designers, builders, and crew. Beyond the main stage, BIV runs a no-barrier youth theatre camp each year, ensuring the next generation of theatre lovers has a place to belong.

What guests have said about past performances

"This was my first time attending a Bard in the Valley production. I was absolutely blown away at the caliber of this play. I'm a big fan of live theatre and have seen productions at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre and the Arts Club Theatre. The acting, special effects, and make up were excellent. AND the music! What a wonderful partnership between Bard in the Valley and the Langley Senior Resources Society! Langley needs a performing arts space but until that happens, I think Bard in the Valley have found a very nice venue for winter productions. I'll be a 'regular'!"

Lilianne Rioux Fuller

"As always, BIV put on an entertaining and clever interpretation of a classic. We appreciated the efforts to make the storyline more approachable through subtle cues like costuming. Fantastic mood-setting through the carefully selected music. We were impressed with the costumes and many of the actors shone! Spot on stage lighting and transitions. Highly recommend this company's productions!"

"So happy Bard in the Valley took on MacBeth! We were so impressed. The music during scene transitions created a powerful atmosphere, and the stage design, lighting, props, and costumes were all beautifully done. The acting was stellar and brought real intensity to the story. Comfortable seating, great snacks, and easy parking made the whole evening seamless. Really outstanding work. Looking forward to the next one!"
